REPULP Tape is
This paper box tape is dissociated in alkali and water, and 100% recyclable.
What is water dissociable REPULP tape?
Water dissociation means complete dissociation in neutral water, and REPULP tape is a tape in which the adhesive separates in water.
REPULP Tape dissolve its adhesive in water when thrown away with paper boxes. This make it fully recyclable in the pulp regeneration process without any issues.
Features of REPULP tape
Excellent Adhesion
It has better stickiness than regular OPP tape, making it deal for various packaging needs, from sealing regular boxes to handling heavy-weight products.
Convenient Recycling
In recycling process, the adhesive fully dissolves, leaving only the paper. No needs to remove it from the box; it can be directly disposed of as paper, ensuring complete recyclability.
Customizing of Size & design
Customized for the products and boxes being packed, it can be made in different sizes and designs to meet various specifications.
Why Use Repulp Packaging?
REPULP packaging prioritizes the fundamental principle of keeping products safe.
For the consumers
Reinforce positive brand experiences
Opening and discarding the box is simple and convenient.
For the brands
Efficient & effective packaging
Packaging process can be done in a safe and efficient manner.
For the environment
Reduced environmental impact
Using 100% recyclable packaging reduces waste.
Water dissociation test of 3 types of paper tape
Three types of kraft tape with different adhesive types REPULP Tape, Hot Melt Tape, Natural Rubber Tape were crumpled and soaked in water, and observed the stickiness and tear resistance over time.
REPULP tape
Hot melt tape
Natural rubber tape
Experimental Result
The experiment showed that only REPULP Tape had adhesive dissociation, making it non-sticky and easy to tear, similar to wet paper.
Adhesion test of 3 types of paper tape
Adhesive strength, adhesion preservation, and durability increase as the box tape integrates with the box. The degree of integration can be determined by observing the condition of the box and tape during tape peeling over time, considering factors such as temperature and humidity.
Observed the adhesive performance of three types of Kraft tapes with different adhesive types (REPULP Tape, Hot Melt Tape, Natural Rubber Tape).
Experimental Result
In all three trials, REPULP Tape showed the strongest adhesion, maintaining robust stickiness even under tough conditions, and it didn't leave any adhesive residue on the box.
In multiple tests, both hot melt and natural rubber tapes left adhesive residue on the box. Over time, hot melt tape showed increased adhesion, while natural rubber tape decreased in stickiness.
